Back in January 2002, we—Roger Johnson and Scott Vorhees—opened the doors to our practice at 510 West 6th Street in Joplin, Missouri. After working at firms that didn’t reflect our values, we built JVM with a simple guiding principle: every client deserves our full time, attention, and respect.

For more than twenty years, we’ve stood by that promise. We’ve grown, added new team members, expanded our offices, and earned hundreds of wins, but we’ve never lost sight of who we are or why we started. Joplin isn’t just the place we work. It’s home.
